Purchasing a high-quality bit is an investment that can last a lifetime, so making an informed decision is essential. Our Trial Bit Service allows you to test a mouthpiece before purchasing to ensure it suits your riding style and your horse’s needs.

Our trial bits are checked out by mouthpiece, meaning they may not be on the exact shank you would select. Due to the variety we offer, trial bits typically come on one of our baseline shanks—but this still allows you to experience how the mouthpiece functions.

You may trial up to three mouthpieces for a two-week period. The service fee is $25 per bit, plus shipping costs.
